Nellore, March 11 Prabhatavarta-Vidya IEM (Internal error Metabolism) disease The city-based Akshaya Foundation Managing Trustee Anumakonda Narendranath and Treasurer Satish handed over Rs. 60,000 in cash in the form of cheque to the management of the Lourdes Hospital in Cochin, Kerala, for the medical expenses of a 20-day-old child. Speaking on the occasion, the foundation administrators said that Pinna Shahjahan, who belongs to a poor family in Kerala, and her husband used to earn a living by doing small jobs. In this process, Shippa gave birth to a baby girl before she was even a month old, and the baby was suffering from Internal Error Metabolism disease from birth. Dr. Rojo Joy, a neurologist at Lourdes Hospital in Kerala, said that the baby needs enzyme replacement therapy, which will cost more than two lakhs. When the child's parents contacted their foundation, they spoke to the hospital medical experts and requested that the baby be treated immediately, and Rs. 60,000 was given to the hospital management for the expenses. The baby is currently receiving treatment and they hoped that the baby would soon return home completely healthy. They thanked those who supported their foundation for the child's treatment. The baby's parents said that they are indebted to the organizers of the Lakshmi Foundation for saving their child's life and providing money for medical expenses. Foundation Secretary Narendra and member Anumakonda Sunitha were present at the event.
